Dear Delegates,

I am honoured to welcome you to the QMUN'24 International Press Corps. My name is Atensanger Imchen, and I will serve as the IPC chairperson.

IPC is different from the general committee that gathers together in this MUN, UNCA is unique as it tests your writing ability louder than one's speaking skill. This committee truly embodies the famous saying, "A pen is mightier than a sword". We are all here to acknowledge and resonate with the anthem of a liberated and unbiased press, one that is without prejudice and depravity. We are all gathering to develop points of view that would galvanize the crowds outstandingly and comprehensively.

Media are the channels of communication or the means by which data or information is held and disseminated. The media is currently the most powerful force on the planet; they have the ability to easily shape and alter public opinion. They manage today's society, dominate conversations, and polarise people. It follows that the media should always adopt a neutral position. Your effectiveness, organisation, and transparency are therefore essential for a successful QMUN!

‘Originals’ will be featured in QMUN. Delegates may feel free to either submit a brief movie of the entire session, a cartoon caricature of the session's most significant moments, or any type of creative writing (poem, sonnet, comic). ‘Originals’ will be added in the newsletters.
